How do I turn off parent portal in PowerSchool?

Do one of the following:

1. Select the checkbox to disable access to the Student and Parent portal for all students at this school. When the portal is disabled, students and parents can sign in,however they cannot access any information.
2. Deselect the checkbox to enable access to the Student and Parent portal.

What does Y1 stand for in PowerSchool?
