As well as being able to continue to download RNIB’s Talking Books and access our library through Dolphin’s free EasyReader app, there are lots of new features for you to enjoy: You no longer need to renew your books; you can download and keep them until you’re finished.

How do I access Talking Books?

Readers can access the audio books on CD or USB or as a digital download, so that they can listen to them how they choose, whether at home or, increasingly, ‘on-the-go’. Anyone who is blind or partially sighted can now borrow up to six Talking Books at any time, completely free-of-charge.

The National Library Service (NLS) is a free braille and talking book library service for people with vision impairments or physical disabilities that prevent them from holding traditional books.

Is Dolphin Easy Reader free?

EasyReader is a free app which makes reading more accessible for readers who are visually impaired, have a neurodiverse condition such as dyslexia or any other print impairment.
