How is a Pcsm score calculated?
A PCSM score is calculated by utilizing an applicant’s AFOQT Pilot subscore, amount of logged flight time (including dual instruction), and grading data from the Test of Basic Aviation Skills (TBAS). The calculations used to produce the score are proprietary information and are kept confidential.

If you retake the TBAS, the new PCSM scoring algorithm with a cap of 60 flying hours will be used to re-calculate your PCSM score. Thus, for example, if you previously received credit for 200 flying hours and retake the TBAS, you will now only receive credit for 60 flying hours.
