What is a core score?
What is a core score?
The COREscore ™ Your COREscore™ is based on a scale from 0 – 100. The higher the number, the better the communication along those important nerves. Your score will tell us how much interference is in your communication core and how we can begin to help you.
What is COREscore by CLA?
The new COREscore from CLA represents a powerful and simplified way to measure and report dramatic changes while under chiropractic care. Using the three most important measurements of spinal neural function, the Core Score can be generated in under 10 minutes and will give an accurate index to report from.
What is CLA INSiGHT?
Why choose CLA’s INSiGHT technologies? Offers a thorough analysis of the functioning nervous system, not limited to spinal function alone. Designed to continuously educate your patients to move beyond symptom-based care. Customizable scan views allow you to share your chiropractic message.
What is an INSiGHT scan?
A computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal, surface electromyology (SEMG), and heart rate variability (HRV).
What is a chiropractic thermal scan?
Neuro thermal scan Measuring the subtle changes in temperature allows the chiropractor to see how well nerves are supplying different organs, glands and vessels.
What is Tytron thermography?
Tytron Thermography is a safe, painless, and reliable test that measures the infrared heat emitted from the body’s surface; without the use of radiation or other harmful effects.
How do you read a core 10?
Scoring the CORE-10 could not be simpler: simply add together the individual item scores to arrive at a total score (between 0 – 40). Those of you more familiar with using the mean score from the CORE-OM need simply to divide the total score by the number of completed items to determine the mean score.
What is a core 10 form?
The CORE outcome measure (CORE-10) is a session by session monitoring tool with items covering anxiety, depression, trauma, physical problems, functioning and risk to self. The measure has six high intensity/ severity and four low intensity/ severity items.
How do you read core scores?
What do the numbers mean? A higher score on the CORE measures, domains or individual items indicates a higher level of distress or symptom severity. The clinical cut-off [ii] for the CORE-OM is 1 (using the 0 – 4 scale), or 10 (using the 10 – 40 scale).
Are chiropractic thermal scans accurate?
In 1994, after reviewing additional studies, an Agency for Health Care Policy and Research panel concluded: The one study meeting review criteria found that thermography did not accurately predict either the presence or absence of lumbar nerve root compression found at surgery.
Are subluxations real?
Subluxation syndrome is a legitimate, potentially testable, theoretical construct for which there is little experimental evidence.
How reliable is thermography?
Table 5
| Sensitivity, % | Accuracy, % | |
|---|---|---|
| Mammography | 80.5 | 76.9 |
| Thermography | 81.6 | 69.7 |
| Thermography + ice test | 92.8 | 67.35 |
| Imaging packagea | 96.2 | 70.5 |
What is a high score on core-10?
In addition, scores on the CORE‐10 can be divided into categories of distress: Healthy (0–5), low (6–10), mild (11–14), moderate (15–19), moderate‐to‐severe (20–24), and severe (25 and above).
Why do chiropractors check for temperature?
Paraspinal Thermal Scans detect temperature differences in your spine down to 1/100th of a degree Celsius This allows our Spinecare chiropractors to detect and identify even the smallest areas of spinal nerve interference most likely caused by your spinal dysfunction.
How does a chiropractor check your nervous system?
Our chiropractors may isolate muscle groups controlled by a specific nerve and test to see if they “lock”; or check your reflexes to see if your muscles move properly and how the nerves affect sensation on the skin. Neurological exams are typically performed as part of a chiropractic and orthopedic examination.
