What luggage allowance do you get with EasyJet?

Each customer (including children and infants) can buy up to three hold bags. A standard hold bag is 23kg. You can buy extra weight in 3kgs units, up to a maximum of 32kg per bag. If you’re travelling with family or friends on the same flight and booking, you can pool your total weight allowance.

Each passenger that pays for a checked baggage can bring a maximum of 23 kg with dimensions up to 275 cm (length + width + height).

Can I take 2 hold bags on Easyjet?

There’s no change for easyJet Plus cardholders; you can still take one small under seat cabin bag and one large cabin bag on board with you. If you book an Up Front or Extra legroom seat, you’ll get your large cabin bag on board.

How strict are EasyJet on baggage weight?

easyJet are relatively strict and state that unless you pay extras, you’ll be limited to one small bag which must fit underneath the seat in front of you. Your bag must fit in the sizer otherwise you risk having to pay penalties at the gate.

Can I add baggage after check in easyJet?

You can add new hold luggage or sports equipment, or increase your weight allowance. Just log into Manage Bookings or our mobile App and select the ‘Add hold luggage’ option. We’re unable to refund luggage allowance you’ve already bought.

What happens if your luggage is overweight easyJet?

With easyJet you can purchase extra weight before departure in 3kg units for £12 up to a maximum of 32kg per bag (unless you’ve purchased a 15kg bag, then the limit is 27 kg). If your checked luggage exceeds your allowance, then you will be charged £12 for each 1kg of excess weight at the airport.
