How do you enjoy RumChata?
Try 2 fluid ounces (59 mL) of RumChata on the rocks for a simple yet delicious drink. RumChata is a terrific pairing for desserts and other sweet foods. If you want to drink it with a food or meal, consider pairing it with chocolate, vanilla ice cream, cake, or sweet breakfast foods like French toast or pancakes.
Do you chill RumChata?
All it needs is room temperature (or below), and being tightly closed and away from sources of heat. The ideal storage temp is between 50-75°F (10-24°C) (RC), so a cabinet in the pantry or kitchen is all you need. And even though it’s a cream liqueur, you don’t need to refrigerate it after opening.
Why does RumChata need to be refrigerated?
RumChata should be stored in the refrigerator because of its creamy base. RumChata can be stored at room temperature after it has been opened, just like other rum-based products. Refrigerating the liqueur won’t necessarily increase its shelf life, even though it tastes great cold.
