EduMic, a new wireless remote microphone system from Oticon, Inc., improves speech understanding in the classroom for children with hearing loss, overcoming the noise, distance and reverberation challenges typical of classroom environments.
How do I turn off background noise on Oticon hearing aid?
Briefly touch the volume indicator to mute the sound from the hearing aids (1). You can un-mute by adjusting the volume or touching the mute indicator (2). Touch the settings indicator (1) to access the secondary functions related to the active program. Here, you can change level of the streamed signal (2).

How do you use Edumics?
EduMic sends your voice directly to your students’ hearing aids. To mute EduMic, briefly press the button. To unmute, briefly press the button again. Turn EduMic ON by pressing the button for 2 seconds until both indicators turn WHITE.
Is there a hearing aid that blocks out background noise?

How do you use a Oticon remote?
Simply press the “•” button on the remote control to go through the hearing aid programs. Each press will advance the hearing aids to the next program in the cycle. With the remote control you can adjust the volume of your hearing aids by using the volume control buttons.
Why is my Oticon hearing aid blinking orange?
Charging Charge the hearing aid every night. The LED on the hearing aid will turn RED/ORANGE when the hearing aid is charging and GREEN when fully charged. It takes 3 hours to fully charge the hearing aid.
