What is an X10 controller?
X10 is a versatile home automation technology that uses your home’s existing electrical wiring to remotely control lights, appliances, security systems, pools and much more. X10 remote control, switch, and module commands travel from X10 transmitters to X10 receivers through standard household wiring.
How do I program my X10 remote?
Press and hold the first (top) ON and OFF buttons at the same time for 2-3 seconds to enter Program Mode (the LED stays on and the Unit Codes are set to 1 and 2.). Press and release the first (top) ON button the appropriate number of times for the Housecode you want to set. Once for A, twice for B, etc.
