HOW IT STARTED. White Stuff started life in 1985. Our ski-loving founders, George and Sean, had the idea of selling T-shirts to fund their stays in the French Alps (the “white stuff” is snow, in case you were wondering).

I’ve stopped bothering with White Stuff dresses. I find their sizes small compared to Monsoon and Next but big compared to Fat Face. I agree, they come up big. Their tops can be huge – I’m a 36DD and often end up with a size 10, or even 8, top (not the button-up ones though) – anywhere else I’d be a 14 easily.
